Well guys the Cougar is now up for sale on eBay and my days of cougar ownership are over (for the time being).

I have had a great amount of fun tinkering with the beastie over the past year and have to say my subscription here was the best £18 I have ever spent.
It has been a pleasure to meet some of you in the flesh, and to those I didn't thanks for all the assistance offerred.

And yes, I am another Cougar owner now in a Jag!

Yeah, TBH I'm quite impressed with the beastie.
It's a 2003 4.2 V8 Luxury spec, thought I'd go for something more economical

It's a rear wheel drive auto box. Economy wise, it's not that much worse than the cougar. You certainly don't have as many opportunities to floor it!

Pulls like the proverbial steam train, smooth as silk to drive though, very, very comfortable!

At a measley £3,200 I really couldn't argue and oddly enough it works out slightly cheaper to insure than the Cougar!

That V8 is a gem, as is the ZF 6 speed auto. The car feels big at first, but it's incredibly well balanced and can be chucked around corners with a lot of confidence because it's just such a well sorted chassis.

Enjoy! :D

I was gutted to see the last of my Cougar,..............but driving my X-Type the last couple of days I have no regrets whatsoever. Change is as good as.......etc.
