Spark Plugs for the V6

I use copper slip myself, but strictly speaking it should be graphite grease for spark plugs. Copper is better than nowt though - just don't tighten them too much which is easy to over do with copper grease

That's a good point Jamie. I didn't torque mine - just ran them in by feel because that's how I roll - but I've always used copperslip and never really given it a thought.

I just tighten mine by hand and then when they have bitten i get the wrench on and giv an 1/8th turn not sure what the actual torque settings are but i would imagine they are very low

I do torque mine BUT that said normally it equates to the "just tight 'n' nip" method.

You'll soon know if they're not tight enough!
