After introduce newbies forum, where I told you restore a cougar of 98
at the end I can say that I completely over (at least for now)

received the missing pieces and I mounted the speed control
... and I was surprised ... beyond what is comfortable, consumption has fallen dramatically in road
between all parts (ordered by ebay) has left me for 200 euros, but I think the investment was worth it.

greetings and happy new year

------------

I have to do more testing, but for now, 100km / h, consumption falls to 7.9% when up to now had never fallen from 10.5
by the way, my cougar is the manual shift

------------

I have the car only 1 month and these are recorded consumption without having to install the controls, speed:

146 km ---- 10.87%
143 km ---- 12.98%
169 km ---- 13.57%
55 km ---- 18.04%
132 km ---- 10.85%
250 km ---- 12.00%
106 km ---- 14.62%
202 km ---- 10.42%

total 1203 km
Average consumption 12.33

as I will continue to monitor the consumption we will see what comes out now with the speed control

I've done just over 13,000km since purchase 11 months ago. I reset the trip computer when I took delivery, and it's currently showing 32.5mpg (7.2L/100km) on the dash. It's a V6 manual, no cruise control. Quite impressed with how fuel efficient it is. Kitty has only ever been fueled with BP Ultimate. I don't baby it either. Love to rev it out in every gear.

Got to say my 1st Coug was more economical with cruise control than my others without it by a decent amount 4-5mpg.

-----------

I'll keep that in mind, it is not normal driving like a snail consumption not lower than 10%
but today, with the activated speed control, the fuel that makes the onboard computer has fallen by 3% in only 50 km

consumption without speed control installed

146 km ---- 10.87%
143 km ---- 12.98%
169 km ---- 13.57%
55 km ---- 18.04%
132 km ---- 10.85%
250 km ---- 12.00%
106 km ---- 14.62%
202 km ---- 10.42%

this is the consumer using the speed control ...

100 km -----8.54%

I would say that it works and look good
