Depends how far you go, and how handy you are with spanners. 10k would be to get it done professionally. Could do it for around a grand if you're willing/able.
My 2.8 Capri has an Eaton M45 waiting to go on. Cost? Around 400 quid all in. But that's only adding around 30-40 brake at low boost.
