I swapped the bonnet on my cougar for my Kaminari one, the bonnet catch wouldnt catch so i removed it and filed a little bit from the bottom of the 3 bolt holes to enable the bracket to sit a little higher, bolted the bracket back on, shut the bonnet whoop whoop catch now works a treat okay time to open bonnet and align shutlines... ermm guess i forgot to reattach the cable for the release mechanism then

You only need to open the bonnet to check the oil so I wouldn't worry about it Paul

hoping he will be able to do it with a nice reach around, there isnt much to grab hold of but its definately firm and will take a good tug to release even though it is well lubed
