have engoyed many years in the cougar from the first mod till the last ,met most all here from kilted cougar to most of you but time to say goodbye aquired lots of mods from the club and some very good advice, and had a good time with the car in my many years she never let me down apart from the last two niggles but have no regret buying the cougar and wish you all well, and the new members, pay your subs its worth it in the long run. but with the grandkids and the rottweiller time to change colours to the mondeo with all the bells and whistles, regards and farewell.... may be tempted back if its the orange cougie :geek:

It's been a pleasure Dave. Some of your posts have been very entertaining over the years (probably unintentionally too ).

Let us know which dealer got your cat. Might be worth keeping a look out especially with the Wings West kit.

No need for you to desert the forum just you've sold your cat. Hope you can stick around. (y)

Argggggg! the fuel of the devil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck Dave keep a small presence on here we might be able to tempt you to the dark side once again!.

Well its been a pleasure knowing you over the last 6 or 7 years still got the optimised throttle body that you sold me but haven't fitted it yet which orange cougar are you talking about and why would you want an orange one anyway my car currently has a flat battery so I can't drive to look at your new car but I agree with mark one of the cats is pregnant after a visit to the sausage farm recently I have to go now as my pilchards in tomato sauce bath is going warm don't be a strangler my fiend

Have some of that!!(y)

was part ex a good idea, my guess ( based on how much I paid for my Cougar at auction) is whatever they gave you for it you could have got as a cash discount ( unless one of the guys at dealership wanted it)

hi sorry guys im back well car not part ex..? as mondeo was a diesel and had DPF not explined at time of deal and with my mileage, would have been a mistake as not doing motorway driving,so would not burn off the soot etc etc.. car now for sale anywhere hopefully
