6th car - 1996 'P' Citroen AX 1.0 (bought as a cheap runaround to keep the miles down on the Cougar, found it needed a load of welding to pass MOT so scrapped it)

Fiat Seicento bright yellow again new and because of where I lived and where I worked, I was the first person in Scotland to get the 9000 mile service done and the 1st person in Britain to need a suspension part ( can't remember what bit, but it had to be brought in from Italy ! I lived up a farm track )
Vauxhall frontera sport, green, not bad in the snow
Seat Ibiza gti silver and really nice.
Ka, black bought new, my only excuse is my wife was learning to drive ( and she hated the Ka )
Vw touran because we were expecting our first child.

Audi A4 avant. Lovely, just lovely, red.
Had kiddie number 2 so got rid of the Audi for a BMW x5, very good car but after year and a half started to make strange noises from rear, needed a major service and we were starting to really notice the running costs so went back to a car we always talked about...
Audi A4 quattro se bright red. Fantastic car to drive, went for the saloon this time and seem to be managing with less space.
Which brings me on nicely to my new cat. Another ford cougar 2.5 V6 but this time an ebony X pack, picked up last weekend from Alan ( ace melon ) looks fantastic and great to drive, a credit to Al's time and effort.
So that's my car history, I didn't realise I'd had that many ! Some of the times overlap as we usually have 2 cars and the cougars are hobby cars and don't do Daily duties, purely for fun and indulgence!! Woowhoo!!

I was just thinking that too
some of you guys have had quite an eclectic mix of cars over the years then, I only change when the previous one becomes either too old or un-economical to service anymore. The first car was starting to dissolve thanks to the tin worm, 2nd car was broken into more times than I could warrent replacing locks/windows/stereo's etc. 3rd car just started to look a bit chavy.... coming from me thats something (think its the only one still on the road too) Cougar had everything that I wanted and more, it was only 3years old when I got it (23k on the clock) so after 11 years its barely run in (built in 2000 registered in Jan 2001)

2006 The first couple of MODS, lowered springs* and rear light masks and Cougar head grill and rear badge (*it was far too low at the back due to still running C2 top mounts)
2007 The WET one, on the campsite at Lemans covered in french mud YUK :thumbsdown: (somehow broke both front fog light lens and it cost me £52 each to replace the fog lights!)
2008 Black wheels, MIJ exhaust with de-cat pipe and repainted engine (Cosford Breakfast club meet)
2009 Strut brace front and a ROUSH anti-roll bar + proper suspension mods with Eibach struts, Pi springs and C1 rear top mounts (on track at FORD Fair)
2010 Rear Cat-Fabs strut brace, and re-painted wheels (Harewood 2010)
