The Cougar is gone, long live the Cougar

Good for you Matt. I'm really glad you and Emma have your own place now and everything. Hopefully this is a whole new chapter for you and I reckon you wont miss the car all that much because you'll associate having the Cougar with not having your own pad with your own little family in it.

All the very best for the future Matt :D

It's all been said Matt, so nothing really for me to add except, i know a few of us have been in very similar situations to yours, i know i have, so can understand some. You should now be at a stage where you can sit, relax, remenisc a little and maybe even shed a tear, but at least you know you did the right thing. (y)

I went to this show last week at the theatre and they played the Hovis tune "going home" and I started to reminisce about the car and it not being there when I would be going home and it bought a tear to my eye :( but a house is much better in the long run.

You got that right Matt, and when your ready a cougar can be had again, and you never know you may be able to afford something better and newer..

Dont go near a c2 i looked at one for my daughter as a first car, done the test drive and been honest a shoing trolley would feel safer to drive

Its a shitron I wouldn't realy have it, just caught my eye, besides it was nearly £4k! 56plate
Uncle fester suits me fine, it pulls quite well in low gears (shows a few cars a clean set of heels) is economical and could swallow a fridge freezer
