Well, if you can't beat them...then might as well join them...

So, here are the cars I've owned here in the UK:

First one, Cavalier CDi - needed alot of work (too much rust), part-ex'd it for a Honda motorbike

Second, lovely biege Fiesta - notice the front wing...made it out of cardboard!!! lol

3rd, first decent car - Sierra - it's name was Henry! lol

Whilst I still had the Sierra, I also bought this...very quick little Mini - which had been race prepared

4th, Part-ex'd the Sierra in for a newer and smaller model

5th, got bored with lack of power and looks, so opted for the Rover

6th, well..got into financial poo...so the Rover was taken from me...sob!! and later got this

7th, Escort failed the MOT...so ofcourse I bought another...

8th, well the Escort drank too much fuel...24mpg...out of a 1.6 huh? So, bought my mates Vectra from him (didn't look like this when I bought it...so alot of work later...)

9th, Got bored with the Veccy, wanted something a little newer and more reliable...so grandad car here I come (still got it as my daily driver)

Whilst still having the Avensis, bought this one from a work colleague, did it up and sold onto a friend of mine

I have the furry dice in my cougar now lol, Cavs and sierras cant be that old, I remember driving them around in there hayday, bloody hell I feel old now.
 
I had a Blue 1.1 fiesta B reg for a short time that was until a slow moving lorry pulled out on me and total the front end. Still got 200 quid from the local scrap merchant.

That was when I was down to public transport. I learnt my lesson not going there again.
 
what will this thread be like if everyone listed there cars lol ive had about 21+ cars and a moped lol and not counting any vans
 
a few of the vehicles I've owned

these are just some that stretch over 45 years of driving.
my favorites not including my cougar in no particular order were Ford Thunderbird owned during RAF service in Germany 1962.
Nissan 100 NX fantastic little sporty car pity the rear turrets rust so badly.
Rover 827 vitesse nearly as quick as the cougar.

Roller, you have got some very interesting cars, i don't even know the name of some. What is this orange thing (second row from top, right side)? Sports version of reliant robin??:LOL:
and on a left side 4th from top? that grey/green thingy...

1985 (B) Mk2 Golf C 1.3, 1998 (R) Mk1 Corsa Merit 1.7D, 1994 (L) Hyundai X2 1.3, 1997 (P) Mk1 Laguna 2.0S RTI, 2001 (Y) Cougar V6, 1996 (P) Citroen AX 1.0 (MOT failure, bought in the hope of reviving it as a cheap runaround to keep the miles down on the Cougar, turned out to be rotten as a pear and got scrapped) 1997 (P) Mk1 Laguna 2.0S RTI (same car, I bought it back as a runaround when the AX turned out to be a no go), 2004 (04) Fiesta Ghia TDCi (Still got it, Joanne's car really, even though it's in my name), 2004 (54) Corsa 1.2 SXi, 2000 (W) Cougar V6

Yep, I've had a few cars in my time. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of them. Some of the more exciting ones were Ford Zephyr V6, the one with the very long bonnet and the sights on the front of it for ligning up when you are parking. Mk 1 Lotus Cortina in Green with a white go faster stripe. Mk 2 Cortina 1600E in Black with JPS gold pinstriping. Mk3 Cortina 2000E in gold. Capri 2Litre S - had two of them. Granada 2.8GL - the working man's Rolls Royce. 5 different 24V Probes, one of which I bought brand new. And now I have the CAT.

i also had a sierra before i got the cougar,never let me down in six years,thats why i had to keep it.couldnt bear to get rid of it.:smilewinkgrin:
