I've seen that on ebay, but i've not got that sort of ££££'s to throw at the engine for the mo' still need to get me cam belt done, oh and i've found out this morning the car has locking wheel nuts with no sight or sound of the key anywhere to be found inside the car.... :cry: oh dear, oh my...

I'm going to get the last owners phone number and give her a ring she if she has it, she probably won't though and ford parts want £90 for a new set, holy c*#$
 
You can buy a locking nut removal tool for about £15, and then replace them with standard nuts, alloys don't get stolen as much these days anyway.. or a local garage can normally remove them for a small amount of cash.. (y)

Thank you, local Ford garage said pretty much same thing this morning, luckily i work at a main dealers (not Ford though) so will have a word on Monday with one of the tech's, and get some stock nuts if i can't obtain the locking key from last owner,

I expect truth be known that same local Ford garage was the key somewhere as the car had been in there about 4 months ago for a service, before it was sold on,
 
Usual places are spare wheel well, door pockets, ashtrays, seat pocket (on back of seat) glove box, centre console storage?? If it's not in nay of them, have a good rummage under the seats etc in case it's rolled there.

Yup, been right through the whole car spare wheel was the first place I looked, even took it out and the jack in case it was hidden in there, sadly no, nowhere to be found, in my old car it was in the ashtray, but not even in there in the cat i'm going to pull the rear seats up later today and check under there, just in case.... wish me luck

Just looked in the car again and there it is hiding right at the back in the glove box, don't know how I missed it before :giggle::giggle::giggle:, but I have it now, something to do with not being able to see the wood for the trees kinda thing yesterday in my rush to get stuff done.:LOL:
