Having stumbled across this thread, I found myself hooked and just had to sit and read all 12 pages of it ! What an amazing story ( and yet more to come ) and what a truly dedicated bunch you all are. This shows me, as a noobie, just how much you all love these cars. I take my hat off to you all for your resourcefulness and downright refusal to be beaten. 'It's amazing what you can achieve when you don't know what you can't do' ( Garfield by Jim Davis ). Then methinks, would this not make a really heartwarming story for one of the classic car magazines ? A bit of publicity for UKCougar.club, even maybe a few more members and perhaps a boost for the Cat herself ? Just a thought and once again 'well done !'...
You might be a noobie, but please never feel like you're an outsider. Almost all of us are like this and we welcome anyone who rocks up to have a play and put some sort of effort in. You are very welcome to put on some gloves, pick up a tool, and join in!

Do you remember Chris and Tracey? the couple who arrived late? Well they have asked me to let you know they are very interested in seeing the garaged cougar with a view to buying it so if it is at all possible to get access i know they would appreciate it.
LOL "arrived late". I was the only one with a woman in tow so what did you expect?
Seriously though, thanks for this. I'm really looking forward to the rescue if it's at a reasonable price, (Tiger cost me £380 so let's see what's what). Tracey is charging forward with the idea though.
