Trip "Up North" to pick up a Pussy!!

Have you got it yet Karen (not that I`m jealous!)

Yes I have got her... :) and she is safely back in Essex now... but unfortunately she has had to go into hiding in a secret location..for hopefully only a short while...
I have had problems getting insured on her as I am unemployed at the moment (signed off sick!!) and the usual moderated car insurers (Adrian Flux and Sky) won't insure me - as they say I am a higher risk as I would not be able to pay any excess if I had an accident.....:cautious: so not a happy bunny right now - as I can't drive my lovely new Cat - and it will have to be SORN off road until I can find employment...

I'd have just told them my profession, they don't ask the company do they? They ask you what job you do.

Obviously!
That's my way of thinking.
Obtain upgraded part, make it shiney then transplant.

Hummmmmmm Shiney shiney shiney.... to add to the shiney shiney I already have.... sounds great to me Manos....:devilish:
Certainly want ST200 bits - as I know from The Goblin that it makes a difference... but to have it sparkly as well..... now there is a good idea... (y) If I could afford it.... which for now.. is just not possible.. but never say never...:)

Some of my mods have taken months, sometimes years to get fitted. For me, the time has been swallowed up in the preparation of parts or just waiting for certain jobs to be combined together e.g. I had my headers for about 2 years before they were finally fitted during the engine swap (much easier with the engine out).
So you don't have to do everything at once. Just buy the ST200 parts when you can afford, spend some time cleaning them up, while saving for them to be made shiney. Therefore you spread the cost over a period of time.

Luckily your car already has plenty of nice mods so there's no need to rush at all.

Well done on getting the Cat back home Karen but what a shame you cant enjoy it to the full just yet. As Manos says take your time and bit by bit you'll get there. (y)
