Jamie, I already have the cougar engine, Chris the weight will be offset so its not an issue, I am roughly building something along the lines of a dune racer, Matt there are no plans to put it in a cougar lol

The main bearing and shells are the same across the range I know they list a different piston for the late 3ltr block. The pistons I beam with sintered fracture rods (basically they are cast as one single unit and the fractured so they have to aligned with same rod they came off) If you want to replace the shells
