Thank you! She does sound awesome and I love her. But Tiger has been working lately, so she needs a coat of Poor Boy's Black Hole followed by a coat of Blue Velvet.

You do need a welding visit to your offside, but you do have a pretty kitty. You need that before the plugs though - she's starting to chatter and stumble, but it's not that bad. Bodywork first.

Had Dave down to weld Gemmas cougar but sills are to far gone, with a heavy heart gem has agreed its time to give in, will look to get a replacement cougar next year (y)

BIG THANKS TO DAVE for trying but even he cant weld tinfoil

Oh! I am so sorry to hear this. :-(

Sad to say it was very far gone. All 4 corners gone and majority of the outer sills going. Also the floor gone in places too. I'm truly gutted it has to go as I know Gemma loves that car, but it's more financially viable to seek a replacement. Once tin worm gets that bad.......it certainly haunts it's host :-(

Condolences to both of you but glad you haven't given up on the Cougar.
Good luck with finding a solid replacement.

Fitted a new old stock 96 cougar grill badge on the boot, as its from the model before ours and has a curved back it was not a simple fit, two new holes drilled as the studs are wider than the ford badge then the back was bulked out with number plate tape, used apoxy glue on the studs to make sure it did not move then put a band of 10mm wide chrome trim around the badge to hide the gap in the middle, had a cd changer cover in the boot for a while with nothing in it so fitted some corex card inside it the make it stronger then cut the middle out of the top and put the first aid kit in there.

I very nearly bought one. Took ten minutes to long to make up my mind.
i guess it's the Land Rover for a while yet.
i still miss my first one terribly :(
Not so much the second one though :)

Run down the motorway gave me chance to test the cruise control - works perfectly! Thanks to Andy for getting the kit together and Chris for fitting it(y)

Finished clearing about a hundredweight of muck from the bottoms of the front wings ready for a coat of wax.
