What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Mal, if you want a perfect match, go to an automotive paint supplier. There are a few different shades of silver frost. They will get their swatches out and check for the correct shade. Make sure you tell them that the paint code is American Ford.

I've bled the brakes twice, but still have a soft pedal. Starting to wonder if the master cylinder is up the spout, although I can't see any leakage.

Funnily enough I do have a master cylinder in the shed somewhere Tim, but I'm on the fence about it actually being at fault. Half inclined to stick it in somewhere that can properly pressure-bleed it and see what's what.

Today i fitted a new power inverter for my Speedhut El-glow dials and binned that cheapo ebay thing that drove me nuts with it's buzzing.
The inverter came from Ireland and was much cheaper than the Speedhut replacement from USA.

Picked her up from the MOT station with a fresh year's ticket. Took her for a blast down the motorway on the way back to the office - to the soulful tunes of the Fullsport pipes :devilish:

Now I've got both cars in the office car park - get the Cougar home tonight and bring the IS back tomorrow me thinks

Well done ;) Have you noticed how heavy your right foot gets with a nice sounding exhaust?
I love it when they are red hot and you get that slight overun ;)

I decided to update the stereo, splashed out on what others have fitted, a 7012B 7" TFT android thingy, as you can get one for £25, I thought why not, I will also see if I can add a rear camera, I don't see why not.
Now I have another 5000 RDS to go in the shed with the other 5000 RDS and a 6006E already put away in the shed from my last Cougar.
The rear cd player will stay in place, just in case.

Keith, Sam (Catamount) has recently posted a 'wanted' ad for a 6006E if you were looking to part with it.

I did see the post, I'm not known for parting with things, plus I still have room in the shed.

Anyway fitted the new Radio, not at all simple as people say, you need to cut a lot of plastic away and some steel, My 110V dremel did the job.
The radio really need a surround adding and a standard one isn't going to work, So time to fire up the 3D printer, but not this weekend.
I have another centre consul, in the shed, if it ever goes back to the original setup.
