Finished up the rest of the underseal I had left over. Should be well coated under there now but I'll keep an eye and patch it up if necessary, especially during the winter.
Is it a African or Timneh gray, in-laws have a Timneh, it must be getting on a bit now, it was not a captive bred bird, vicious bugger though.

Took Keith's travel cage for a test run to the shops and back in Wildcat [emoji38]

That only makes sense once you see the photo of KeithWhat a coincidence. Only yesterday i fitted a Parrot to Rich's car.![]()
He is an African Grey - 18 years old and he's a real character! Talks quite a bit - mainly things Kathy says.....doesn't really copy me for some reason. I'm the one he's bonded with though - I'm the only one he'll allow to handle him and he'll quite happily spend an evening sat on my knee watching TV.
For those who don't know, they say an African Grey has the mental capacity and temperament of a 3 year old child - and they're not wrong. Very intelligent, emotional (can have mood swings, can suffer depression)......in other words not for the feint hearted!
He has been in cars several times - usually between our place and my parents place where we usually leave him when we go away anywhere. I got the travel cage a few weeks ago with the intention to start taking him away with us when we go on holiday. It has taken a while to get him comfortable with the travel cage but he seems pretty happy with it now. Ideally we'd like him to wear a harness so he can go outside without a cage but, at his age, that is highly unlikely. They need to be harness trained while they are very young.
Anyway, I probably have the only Cougar that's had a Parrot in it (not the hands free type)![]()
