Mako: Machine polish, engine bay clean, fluid checks. Little mat under the handbrake installed
Tiger: Startup and allowed to idle for 5 minutes. Obviously need to do this more often as I got a dial sweep (low battery, not alternator!)

Too hot to do anything to strenuous, so I got stuck in and fitted new discs and pads on the front, couldn't budge the calipers on the back without adding some heat so just filled pads, discs look better than I first thought.
Still some more to do, flickering dash on start up to do, its not a problem, but it maybe worth a look at.

I've re-painted the calipers that I have waiting to go on the car (being fitted tomorrow). Some of you will have seen the gold paint I linked to on Facebook, long story short I wasn't at all happy with the colour, far more yellow than gold (my 7 year old nephew described it as looking like baby poo!). I've just given them a coat of good old gold Hammerite and I'm much happier. This time tomorrow, they should be on the car.

I spanked it around some local private roads as it has been a tad neglected, she may even get a wash tomorrow night!

Agreed - that looks great!

Mako's had two coats of wax and is now too bright to look at in the sun. :)

I've also de-badged her backside - except for the (covered) Ford one - in preparation for a Mercury badge and a silver light mask that are both on their way. I prefer the tidier look, not to mention it's impossible to polish around the letters properly without leaving residue.

ST200 UIM, Powder Coated Rocker Covers and New Magnecore 8mm Leads fitted.

As you know I developed a problem with my IMRC, so, that is a replacement I got from the Scrappy, but, it is just the same. My fuel consumption has also dropped drastically to around 15MPG. As a result of those problems, I will not be taking the car round Europe this year and have booked myself a three week All Inclusive trip to Sharm El Skeikh instead.

I sorted out the bad earth and iffy sound system on the 220. Also fitted a new blue themed upper/lower grille with a shiny cat badge.
And washed it. :D

On Jaffa Cat I removed the rear Ford oval to find.....a bit of bodged spray work, a hole in the paint and a bit of rust.
So she's had some emergency surgery, will be sanding down the patch and clear-coating shortly.
Also added a round black/orange grille and prepped a new badge for the rear.
