not quite a punt steve, I have already tried new clocks, new vss, dashboard loom is next simple change if that hadn't worked it would have been engine loom

Today I have swapped the wiring loom behind the dashboard which appears to have fixed the issue with my speedo not registering

Started trying to fit the front strut brace (see elsewhere for the full story) also replaced the main beam bulbs for some better Osram Night Breaker Unlimited i got for a pittance off ebay
Gave the interior a good clean following the weekend's exploding deodorant can incident.
There was a can of Sure under the passenger seat which must have been there since I bought the car. Slid the seat forward and the runner pierced the can - cue lots of white smoke and the overpowering of my air freshener!

To be honest mate I was bloody terrified when it happened, Erika's 10 year old sister was getting out of the back and I thought it was a burst aircon pipe or the seat airbag was going to go off or something.
Typically she loved it - apparently it was like the dry ice Jessie J uses to arrive on stage.........

Removed the stainless headers, lightened flywheel and stage 2 clutch from my old car plus the front suspension obviously lol then had a toy with the idea of longitudinally mounting the engine before rain stopped play
Holy smoke Procomm, that would be incedible and a huge, nay mamouth feet of engineering,
And i have just about run out of patience after doing 2 front springs today, which took 5 hours of skinned knuckles and more swear words than most of my neighbours know.... although they do now
