not quite a punt steve, I have already tried new clocks, new vss, dashboard loom is next simple change if that hadn't worked it would have been engine loom 
Today I have swapped the wiring loom behind the dashboard which appears to have fixed the issue with my speedo not registering![]()
Gave the interior a good clean following the weekend's exploding deodorant can incident.
There was a can of Sure under the passenger seat which must have been there since I bought the car. Slid the seat forward and the runner pierced the can - cue lots of white smoke and the overpowering of my air freshener!
There's far worse things it could've been. Squirty cream?
To be honest mate I was bloody terrified when it happened, Erika's 10 year old sister was getting out of the back and I thought it was a burst aircon pipe or the seat airbag was going to go off or something.
Typically she loved it - apparently it was like the dry ice Jessie J uses to arrive on stage.........

I haven't the will to do the longitudinal fit Allost a lot of interest in the modification now just going for a nice looking car
£26k is a lot to have spent on a 12 year old car that your not going to be showing off
