What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Finally got my alloys

Change the look of the car going to have to get some more black on it I think, wing mirror covers for a start got next week off loads of modding already got a few parts hid lights, front spoiler, lower front springs going from 35mm to 50mm busy week

It nearly stayed that way Al. :cry:

The wiring to it is identical to the 'normal' stalk but it's taken the best part of 18 months to track down the correct plug and pins to fit the socket on it's PCB.
At least I can use proper Cougar column shrouds again. (y)

I won't be nicking one out of a mondeo and bodging it on then!

tiff sold a complete kit on here a couple of years ago which included the stalk, module and wiring and I found this one on ebay. The same seller had another stalk but it was missing the backing plate it sits on.
 
Apparently not Matt; it was offered as an option across the Ford range for those vehicles of that era which didn't have a specific fitment.
 
So worth grabbing if i see one i guess. I imagine I would need some kind of adaptor cable to my Sony head unit but I guess thats not an insurmountable problem.
