What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Went to my mum's to check on S97.

Bless her (the mother), she thought (rightly) that the car cover i used was, well, crap - so she bought a better one off ebay and it was fitted too :)

Ran her (the car) up to temperature - having roared into life first turn of the key.

Windows checked, heated screens checked :)

It's all good

Fitted my rear strut brace, really pleased, if you haven't got one, I'd definitely recommend one, car feels better in corners

Andy what are those covers on your turret tops mate?

Like those.

They are Mk2 Golf ones Steve.

They need some fettling as they should be a push-fit over the top mount but the VW ones are wider than the Cougar ones.
I got a pair of top-mount flanged nuts turned down to make them thinner and stuck them to the under-side of the covers and then just screwed them on after giving them a coat of black gloss.
BTW Puma ones don't fit either. ;)

Managed to get a little job done today, bought this off ebay i think it was someone on here selling it and they said they thought it was alloy so took a gamble and won- and luckily it was alloy. So sanded all the old paint and lacquer off and then set about polishing it,after 5 hours it came up quite nice so fitted it to the car---on with the pics

Finished off with a quick wash

Looks gorgeous Mike I was toying with grabbing that myself...it was Topfish selling it btw

from what I can work out it's a proper Mitsubishi Eclipse door
