Went through the few bits of old service history I have, car is originally Essex reg, I've got a sales receipt for it it from a garage in Telford in 2001 for £10500. They allowed Mrs Allyson Mehta £900 for her H-plate Calibra in part-ex (y)

Well, I tried to start it yesterday......ahem!....errrrr......battery flat again....Oops! Poor old girl, she's certainly seen better days. Roll on spring and warmer and drier weather.....Ooh lord! I done it now! I mentioned the weather! lol!!!!

Thanks Al, the only downside to them being my original 'Special Edition' enamelled badges won't fit the centres, hence my vinyl request. ;)

Yes they are Rich; very similar but minus the ring of 'false' bolts that caused the early onset of corrosion on the last ones.
Just deliberating as to what to do with them.

Good to know I haven't succumbed to OFS just yet! Is it me, or is the availability of 4x108 wheels drying up? I've been idly pondering various 18s just of late, and the amount available brand new in our fitment is relatively small.

I only looked at 17's Rich and found the ones I went for are only available as 17's, drilled to whatever stud and PCB pattern required for any particular vehicle. They initially had an ET of 25 but the suppliers were happy to take them down to ET 35 so they would fit in the arches.

Had a new tyre put on to replace the one that was rubbing on the gearbox,wanted it to match the rest so ended up paying 88 quid for kumho ecstra (gone up £13 in two years). But i suppose i am happy with the tyres they have hardly worn in two years and have very good grip so i cant really moan
 
Since it was like early spring here today, I washed and waxed them and took them for a quick blat around MK.

First time I've driven Mako in over a month (Tracey took her out last time, which is to be encouraged since she always fuels her up...) and I'd forgotten that her torque curve is a little bit shallower than Tiger's.

Mako's going to Camden and back over the next couple of days with Tracey, so give her a wave if you see her on her travels. (y)

That could be due to the fact that most newer Ford's (and other makes) use five stud fittings for wheels, the 4 stud 4x108 wheel is used on most pre 2004 fords (and some other makes too)
