I used to spend loads of money on car steros, but because I always took my cars somewhere to get them fitted I was at the mercy of the retailer - I didn't really know what I was talking about

Car stereo dealers can have a tendency to get you to spend more than you need to, so yeah it's good to be well informed. Problem I find these days is there is a load of cheap crap available that just ruins the whole experience, plus the silly stuff like 1000 watt amplifiers

Fitted the component speakers in the front doors of the fiesta today, looks standard fit now the tweeters as I've used the stock location. Had to drill holes in door to fit the screws for the woofers (the windows don't fully wind down now as these speakers are a bit deeper, but it's only about two or three inches difference) should sound a whole lot better than the standard set up as those speakers are only 20w max but the JL audio ones are 60w RMS (120w max)
New wishbone ball joints, front drop links and filled and sanded the back end. Will finish prepping tomorrow and touch up and I might just be ready for Combe.

Well, decided she needed another polish and wax, also updated the window stickers to the new UKCOUGAR.org and removed the old UKCOUGAR.COM stickers across the top of the windscreen. Well, think she's looking cool, really pleased with how she's looking now. Here's a couple of pic's:

Yup, indeedy! lol!!! Got a silver ribbon to go on, which I'll put on, on Friday. A week tomorrow and I will be getting married...gulp! lol!!!

Errrrr......ye.....h.......a sentence or two....got to really sit down and think about it and jot notes as I go, then build something from them. I've checked out a few on the old t'internet lol!!!
I realise I've taken this off topic (and have no idea what our wedding is going to be like) but...
Keep it under 4-5 minutes. Anecdote about how you met, anecdote about how she demonstrated she's superb (with or without making yourself look silly), and one that involves as many of the attendees as possible. Thank her parents, thank whoever is paying (if that's not you) thank your best man, bridesmaids, ushers, whoever conducted the service, and everyone else for coming. If you've arranged for presents/flowers for the key people, ask for them to be brought out. Then a toast.
Be snappy, don't make anyone else but you look silly, and keep it brief.
That's just my view.
Yup, will be doing all of that and keeping it to 5 mins...otherwise they'll all be asleep by the sixth minute! lol!! As for thanking the person who paid for it...errrr that'll be me then! lol!!!! Thanks for the advice though...appreciated.
