What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Started the MOT test checks his afternoon. Looks like a dodgy sidelight on the one side, so that'll be that lamp coming out again.
Budget for garage bill is coming on, but still some way off yet.

If you need help, just sing out. I'm never going back to C1 units so if you have a problem there just let me know.

I parked my car at liverpool airport on the 17th for ten days and i must admit i cant help worry that somethings going to happen to it, only good side is at least i know John will take good care of my wheels ;)

She'll be fine. I assume you noted the mileage before you left?

New front mud flaps fitted.
Was a little unsure until they were on.
Now the car would look odd without.
Can't wait for rear ones to arrive next week.

Also filled the tank and added a bottle of Redex to give the injectors a clean out.

Fitted a new leather interior to mine.

I replaced the lower suspension arm today, gearbox side, so that was a little more interesting, only had to cut two bolts, but replaced all four.
It went better than I expected, more out of luck than judgement I think, its the second one I have fitted to my motor so that helped, but still glad its over and done with, I don't think they will ever need replacing again, that's one good thing.

Post approved, but I think your link is broken, friend.

But that was my first ever mod courtesy of the lovely Al Pid, so I hope you're going on a great journey, just like I'm on.

...and I remember it well, especially the crack from my back when i lifted the passenger seat out :LOL:, oh and the angle grinder in the backseat with the spark baffle plate (cardboard sheet):cool:. There are indeed some great journeys in the history of this place, and some friendships made along the way. (y)

Bless your heart, Al. You and Vonny were so welcoming and were two of the best introductions to the club that I could've had.

I do my best to pay that kindness forward.

Anyway I'm looking forward to this weekend when I will have a very substantial addition to offer this thread...

It's spitting.

My first thought today on receiving new set of rear mud flaps from Simon (aka scunnycougar).
Couldn't wait so, despite the chance of a shower, I grabbed some tools and something to sit on.
10 minutes later I gave up.
Rear wheels need to come off due to access into rusted screws on bumper trim.
Can wait till tomorrow.
Time for a beer.
