What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

that's what i like to hear someone having fun :devilish:

I said when I bought her that if I was worried about fuel costs, I shouldn't be running her. I stand by that.

Also: Kully said that after the ST200 conversion she would be better over long distance on cruise control, but worse on local driving. Sounds counterintuitive, but he was absolutely right.

Cruise was 34-36MPG, is now 36-38MPG
Local was 20-22MPG, is now 16-18MPG

Shame that most of her driving is local. Still don't care.

By the way, thank you so much for helping me save this car, lazybones. I'll never forget what you did for her and she's alive because of you.

glad i was a bit of help, but most of it is down to your hard work

Is this because, revelling in the newfound glut of torque, you're spanking her all over the place like the bad little Cougar she is?

Well yes of course I am. Otherwise where would be the point?

Tank of BP Ultimate and a shot of Forte tomorrow. Oil change next weekend.

Stacey? You up for some spannering? Jinxy needs doing as well.

No need to be so humble. You were the person that enabled me, and you were the person that encouraged me to press on.

I might've done the actual work and kept the love, but it was you and Kully that ultimately saved Tiger from the crusher. I don't know how many MOTs she and I will see together, but she has the best chance because of the generosity and support that you both gave.

Yes, I paid you for the parts, but I have always known that you low-balled me; I paid far less than what they were worth. I will never forget that.

Went to finish my air ride install and my new front wheel bearings are trashed from the stupid shop who installed them. Hub is all sloppy.

u sure they used the correct size bearings....odd that they just fall apart like that...
sure if they botched the pressing in but would think they'd last a while longer..

are the bearings still tight in the outer hub or is it the inner hub thats loose?

The last time I used Fraud dealer they only fitted the ring clips on one side of the bearings. They soon slipped and caused the calipers to rub on the disks. Got my money back and got them to pay my local independent garage to repair the damage.
