Like I said before mate that car is a credit to you underneath a well as on top!

Took mine for a real good run out today, while I've been off work it has done plenty of mileage and is running much better. Just got home in just over an hour from Badminton, cool night air and empty roads, opened it up at every opportunity and the old thing drives great(y)

It was good to see you Matt and thanks again for the CF. (y)

No problem mate. Thank you for having me as always! It's nice for me to have these little havens where I am welcome, you all know who you are and it means a great deal to me.

One of these days we'll actually have to play some of those records(y)

woo hoo
dun the alty wire fix today and so far no flickery goin on...

finally getting all melina's electrical gremlins fixed...and matt ,it didn't rain today:LOL:

I was just curious as Paul texted me on my way home last night to say he had got to the bottom of it and it was the battery all along.

Ah, the battery was flat, which is what caused what we saw. The flickering dash - a pre-existing problem - was the alty loom. Apparently there's a fix but I've never done it, so will let Paul explain!

OK, explain to the thicky what I've missed. As far as I know, the cruise buttons don't light up, so what mod have you rigged up to make them do so?

LOL Sorry Rich, just yanking your chain.

Paul has done some LED magic (again) with a long ribbon connector through the clock spring that causes the buttons to light up.

His work is - as usual - very interesting, professional, and slightly unhinged.
