What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I definitely like those stripes against the Ebony. It's a really bold look and totally in keeping with the ST nature of the car. Really good work.

I need a rear strut brace, removable type. ( offers of the one sitting unused in your storage facility PM welcome ) Those GT stripes my be just what I need to hide the paint join when my planned sill replacement goes ahead.
This weekend I have sorned the Cougar for the winter and put little up Suzi as my daily driver. Within the next few months I plan to strip the drivers side interior, front bumper moulding, drivers side wing, chop the sill off then let the fabrication begin.
Thread pending.

Jongibbon, how does your boot look so tidy?

Mabo, I can fix you up with a rear strut-brace, but it's a fixed one, not removable.

This isn't a "For Sale" thread though - and I'm not sure if I'm misbehaving by saying this - so if you want it please PM me and I'll sort you out.

Some nice "mods" happening here still, which is always good to see. Glad you got the stripes fitted jon, and Andy, nice work with the lights, they look so much better in the horizontal. (y)

Believe me that is a one off photo, it's usually full of tools, parts and other crap.

The benefits of a strut brace have been mention numerous times on here and I would like to add my name to the list of fans.
My daily commute is about 15 miles , half in town half country lanes. In my head I drive the first half like Ken Miles and the second half like Colin McRae, fitting the brace has made the country section much more fun to drive and definitely taken a few seconds off my best time.

That’s why I want one. Maybe not to reduce journey times but any option to add strength to a 20 year old car (nearly) has got to be worth it.
