What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Mine is in better nick than that. Ive heard a rumour I may be changing mine.
If it happens your welcome to mine, but I suspect that time frame may be longer than you need.

I could be wrong but Procomm ?

Oh, that's a bugger Hazel. :(

The forum inherited some parts from Paul (Procomm) but i'm not sure if there was a front bumper included in them; I'll have a look tomorrow and get back to you. (y)

My car may well be sporting the front that goes with the rear and wings you have. I bought it from Procomm a good few years ago.
Sadly I scratched it with my motorbike hence my now looking for a replacement.

Edit to correct my brain fart. All the right notes but not necessarily in the right order.

No front bumper I'm afraid but there is a pair of Blurple front wings and a rear bumper.

Window motor discussion moved to here:

No worries, my Dad and I (mostly Dad lol) have managed to bodge the bumper back into place so the car is at least drivable while I can get the steering/suspension looked at... It had suddenly developed some ominous noises just before the bumper incident🙄
Post automatically merged:

Found the noise😲😲

It looks like there is some wear on the angled collars on the back of the nuts. What do the holes in the wheels look like? Are they showing signs of wear too? It is possible to put new studs in if you don't fancy having to put another hub on.
There is a How-To here:

and genuine new studs here:

It says they are for a Cosworth but the FINIS is the same for the ones on a Cougar.

Oh that's awesome info, thanks Andy, will check the hub and holes, if all looks ok will probably just replace the studs then😀

Wired in the auto-dipping mirror recently, along with replacing the extra lighter socket in the roof console with a hardwired 2-USB adapter.

Just pushed some pointed screws into the roof foam to hold it clear of the interior lamp.
One socket for the dashcam, potentially power for a Bluetooth handsfree on the other.

This level of servicing is within my ability.

Though I did struggle with the back clip

Last time I looked only half had been in the airflow. Tight git me decided to just turn it 180 hence the black stripe which was in the airflow both times.

Thursday I got my rproject coog back from Steve Birch complete with new MOT????
Today I've added a side stripe and long awaited and VERY expensive center caps I imported from Canada, I do think they look fab though??
Tomorrow she's off for a wheel alignment as the steering wheel isn't in line with the wheels.
