I'm looking to buy a Cougar but my Insurance company was high. Can anyone recommend a good one? I test drove one local to me but was over priced. So now doing some research. Love at first sight.
Thanks Michelle

Hi Michelle if your car is standard try LV always had good prices from them, other Admiral, more Than etc, or try the comparison sites. If you have any mods like aftermarket wheels or exhaust etc try Adrian Flux who specialise in modified cars.

My renewal fee with Admiral this year is £340 for a V6 with mods such as aftermarket alloys and induction kit. Obviously everyone's premium will vary according to age, driving experience, postcode etc, but they're worth a try. The multicar thing is very handy if you have more than one car in your household too, we insure both of ours on one policy (although each driver still continues to accumulate their own NCB) for appreciably less than we'd be able to if covering them seperately.

My pimped up bad boy is only £500 a year, all mods declared with Sky. Full details available in the discounts section. Our subscribers get an extra discount which can make all the difference. Good luck ;)
