What is it about the Cougar.......

Dated? Really? I'm sorry, but just because Peter Stevens didn't design the grille and put a silver trim around it, doesn't mean it's irrelevant now. It still looks crisp and modern.

Everybody has their own take on it, for what it's worth, mine's looking a little tired but I think that the design has held up quite well but we all have a different pair of eyes to look through. Doesn't make you right or Phil wrong.

Well I owned a red ford escort gti before the coug, but what attracted me the most was its most excellent performance, lowsey fuel economy and good looks (edge design) Iv had loads of folks ask me what it was that i was driving and i gave them all a lecture!!! not to forget the attention it attracts!! :devilish:

I must admit, I do think the design still looks modern and cool but even if and when it starts to look a little dated thats ok too - I mean, while looking dated it will still look good ( like a Jag E-Type does ) and then we can all start to be really chuffed that we all own good looking Classics ! ( A car can not be a classic until it looks dated !!! )

:)
