What not to do.

They don’t just shut you down. They follow that up with an invoice for their time, to be fair they do a good job but I have no personal experience of dealing with them. You don’t want them on your building site, no matter how good the H&S is they will find something as there is always something not 100%, it’s human nature.

I believe they only attend places they have concerns about, via the grapevine or their inside knowledge and experience.

ive seen them in action when myself and the company i work for had to RIDOR report a customer(care home😮 ) who had gas tumble dryers and decided to build a conservatory on the site and didn't realise the dryers were venting into it....they all had headaches b4 and after they had been inspected :LOL:
 
Wow, lucky the fumes didn’t kill anyone.
Ignorance may be bliss, but it’s not an excuse in the eyes of the law.
Your still guilty, even if you didn’t know it was illegal.
