What percentage of UK Cougars are V6's

The driver won't have quite such a big grin on his/her face. :)

All UK Cougars had alloys from new.

Ohhh i dunno mate i'm still grinning now i've got the FC TB fitted to my humble 4 pot, yeah sure a v6 rumble would be nice, if i could find one with really low mileage and in as nice nick as mine i'd possibly stick my hand in my pocket

Also not all zetecs are sans front fogs, as mine has them :) (now)

The only real way to tell them apart if you can't hear it running is pop the bonnet

All great info guys! There is only one local to me, a frosty with no V6 badge but never checked for front fog lights. Does have a Mercury grill so has been modded to some extent at some point.

Didnt know they employed sales tactics like that, quite funny actually lol.

Ford are well awkward with names, the v6 is a Duratec, the new four-pot 16v is a Duratec (as fitted to most modern fords) and the five cylinder turbo engines are Duratec, the diesel engines are duratorque. The old four-pot 16v was originally called a zeta then a Zetec then a zetec-se (an engine development with Yamaha that gave us the puma 1.7L and the 1.25L and 1.4L fitted to fiesta and puma) but also zetec-s is a model name for the fiesta, zetec is a trim level for some modern fords (I.e. Our new kuga is a zetec)

Very confusing

Obviously all to make life a bit easier for us lol.

I remember the Vauxhall V6 I had was an Ecotec. It was basically a rebadged/named version of the previous V6 with SAI added. All an eco marketing scheme really.

Don't bother trying to make a 2.0 litre look like a v6 mate , just get a v6 , it is ducking awesome ... Just wants to go mine ,
oh and that under roar of the v6 gives goosebumps :)
Love mine.
