Wheels Opinions please

LOL!!!...until you jar your back for the first time on the tiniest of pot holes!! pmsl!!!

Think the No Limits ST220 will be taking a back seat soon anyway and only be a second car for weekend fun!
Gotta learn the hard way. and by seeing them fitted i will know if i can fit 40's on!

Good idea, my coug is my weekend play thing too, which is why I have my Mondy Diesel for everyday use. I would think if you put 40 profile on a 19" alloy, it will scrub on the wheel arch liner. Also, it will knock your speedo out too - as will be far larger diameter than the standard rolling radius, as the tyre will be 10mm higher on profile, as the 19's should have a 30mm profile tyre.

I was advised to not go above 17inch wheels unless I wanted a trip to the chiropractor  so fair play to you on the 19's

I won't mention the 20's fitted to on members old car......

JJ is running 19's on his...mind you, you can't move his suspension due to all the ICE!! lol

May be a while but im going to give it a go!!
It had 19's on before so it should be ok, and ill just check speedo with satnav and then adjust (y)

Silver on a frosty for me. As already menioned, any darker colour just looks like they need a clean.
The Lenso's look good too but maybe consider them in 18".
In 19" you'd be looking at a 35 profile tyre and one nasty pothole could put you back to sqaure one with a buckled wheel.

Have to agree with Manos here Gav, i spent ages looking at wheels and decided on the current ones you have fitted. I believe then to be the best to match the arches, i did consider 19"s but what the though of the current road conditions and aged chassis it stuck with 18's and some chunky tyres.

Silver matches the car colour perfectly IMHO, painted calipers could be an option if this helps you stick with Silver and the more spokes you have the better. I would go for the refurbs and grow to like them until you can afford the new ones:beer:

Tbh all opinions and info have now drew me to keep these wheels on for now!!! (y)
Cheers all

If i manage to crack an alloy on a 40 profile on the bumpy roads in swindon then im sure a 30 profile aint gunna help much
dunno y i pay tax!!
