Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi as the new and proud owner of Wildcat 😎
With a huge thanks to David, I could not be happier to have a Cougar again...
She drives like a dream and so far I've just made a few cosmetic changes.
Will add her to the projects thread as I'll need some advice I'm sure, again, huge thanks to David for all your help, so grateful 🙏🏻
Anyway, it's great to be back in the club, have a great weekend 🎉

Great day had today by @Musicolik and I with loads of jobs completed. A 'Mini-Fix Swap Meet' of sorts! Phil made the long trip early from North Wales to me in Cambridgeshire and from 10 til about 6pm we got through the following:
1. Fitted new old stock bonnet cable due to original failing and regreased
2. De-gunked the washer bottle by cleaning the gauze and refilling
3. Fixed a split washer jet pipe with a join
4. Stripped the contents of the bonnet - washer jets, bonnet lining etc. and swapped the original bonnet over for a better condition one and lined it up.
5. Removed the spoiler, boot lining, wiper & motor, badge, back of headliner, C pillar interior trim to get to the wiring, washer jet piping, and swapped the tailgate over with a much better condition one due to rust and an almost failed heated rear screen on the original.
6. Switched in the open ashtray that I found which Chris gave me, giving it to it's rightful owner
7. Removed some wire from the exhaust hanger and fitted a new rubber
8. New smoked side repeaters
9. New bolt for the grill
10. Replaced missing roof rail clip
11. Fit new rear light

Everything all tested and working. Only thing we had trouble with was resetting the service light - we held down the Select and Units buttons with the ignition on and it went brighter, beeped after 5 seconds then went dim but is still on. Any advice on that would be good.
