Hi All,

Well, as some of you may know, I went to MIJ last week and had my mid box removed as I kept catching the driveway and also speed humps too and was worried that one of these days I would damage the whole system. So, off it has come and this is what it now sounds like. (Please ignore the puff's of smoke - it was started from cold when I was revving it, I really should have warmed her up first...Oops!)

Want to have a listen to this but the office is full of people who probably wouldn't appreciate a nice loud exhaust note :stop:

When it empties out later though, the subwoofer behind the desk is going on

Lovely sound and really good-looking work. The Coug's rear valance really invites that sort of styling, too.

Just had a listen now the office is empty.....nice! (y)

I bet your neighbours love you now.....hooligan

Yeh...errr...they gave me daggers the other day when I took off like a scolded cat...I just can't help it, I love that sound! ROAR!!!!! LOL

Thats exactly what I did. Back to MIJ a fortnight after my midsport was fitted to get the centre box removed. Sounds gorgeous now. Gets deeper as it soots up the new bit as well ;)

Just played both of these through the TV, sounds lovely Tim. I bet your neighbours think you're the best thing since sliced bread...!

i had something similar done, they removed the rear box, not sure if the centre one is still there as i haven't looked to be honest....i know what you mean about the sound it's costing me a fortune in fuel cos i keep revving it!!! lol

That sounds tasty. I'd say from looking underneath your coug that you don't have a mid box, as you normally would see it, as it hangs a bit lower than the rest of the exhaust, hence why I had to get mine removed, coz I kept hitting/scraping it.

:) We should have a dedicated exhaust note/tone thread, see if we can do our own TG type tune

Great idea Al, just one question....is anyone out there musical (a James May!) and can match our exhaust noise to particular notes???
