Hi All,

Well, as some of you may know, I went to MIJ last week and had my mid box removed as I kept catching the driveway and also speed humps too and was worried that one of these days I would damage the whole system. So, off it has come and this is what it now sounds like. (Please ignore the puff's of smoke - it was started from cold when I was revving it, I really should have warmed her up first...Oops!)

It's surprising how much it's free'd up the acceleration, it feels quicker than it did before.

Yeh...errr...they gave me daggers the other day when I took off like a scolded cat...I just can't help it, I love that sound! ROAR!!!!! LOL

Thats exactly what I did. Back to MIJ a fortnight after my midsport was fitted to get the centre box removed. Sounds gorgeous now. Gets deeper as it soots up the new bit as well

i had something similar done, they removed the rear box, not sure if the centre one is still there as i haven't looked to be honest....i know what you mean about the sound it's costing me a fortune in fuel cos i keep revving it!!! lol

That sounds tasty. I'd say from looking underneath your coug that you don't have a mid box, as you normally would see it, as it hangs a bit lower than the rest of the exhaust, hence why I had to get mine removed, coz I kept hitting/scraping it.
