It was great to see the usual suspects & put faces to some names I've not met before.
The weather was awful, gusting wind with driving rain all day long, I don't know about plaques, I think everyone who turned up deserved a medal for 'Services Above & Beyond The Call Of Duty' lol!
Well after finally peeling my ass outta the driver's seat after a mammoth 5 hour journey home, stuck in a mega traffic jam on the M6, here are the pics I took for anyone who's interested. Those who didn't attend, sit back with a nice warm cuppa & count your lucky stars, those that did, pour yourself something stronger & check between your toes for signs of webbed feet & beneath your ears to see if you've grown any gills!
The coogs were ignoring the rest, watching the seagulls on the beach
This focus driver turned up to realise all the rest had wimped out & already gone home
The show stoppers
Coupla obligatory engine bay piccies
Kev looking cool & casual about the surrounding deluge (Nancy even peeled off to a vest in the middle of it all, just to show me how hard she is!
)
More soggy moggies
Billco looking cool in his new silver & red bling mobile
Kev & Nancy's cat (the blurry bits are due to water on the lens surprisingly lol!
)
And then. there was one!!!
Someone had some sense & suggested drying out in a coffee bar
Tim still managing to keep smiling
Chris muttering something about 'Wait til I lay my hands on the one who suggested this!'
I think all that rain had penetrated his brain, he then decided to take his brew for a test drive!??
Vonny managing to sport a smile
As did Al, keeping spirits up with his warm humour
Not sure if ADZ was trying to tell me something with a hand gesture here lol!!
Wogan, his lad & Carvetti
Charliecd's wife sharing a laugh
Mrs Tooth
Now take the children to bed................. I saved the scariest til last lol!!!
One top bloke...........Charliecd...............thanks a lot for the relay Mark
, I'm glad you remembered it without any prompting whatsoever!
That's all folks!
