Car change

Just my 2 cents - I totally understand the desire to have something more modern with fewer niggles (and rust) but there are other cars in the Ford family I'd put money on if you want something fun and practical.

Your Cougar has rust, Adam???

Actually it was the Cougar lol but not as bad as you think - I've got some rust on the inside crease of the bonnet at the front. Youcan only see it when the bonnet is up.

A V6 Cougar doing 70mph constantly will use around 33mpg but an ST in the same situation can do around 44mpg. It's those conditions that are the big influencer. I am actively being prevented from making long journeys due to fuel at the minute. Other types of driving will not concern me too much, any car will drink when pushed. Suspension hardness or 'revvy' engines do not bother me in the lightest (I think the Zetec Cougar is harsh when pushed). As I say the decision is made and just need to find a good one now.

Tony you got that wrong... Ginja does 70 in reverse running over road cones.. He never goes that fast going forward as he is always missing junctions with massive signposts and leading convoys into farm yards!
