Club polo shirts??

Hi guys

Was just thinking whether the club have their own 'attire', ie a UKCougar.com polo shirt. I couldn't see any threads onit so presumed we don't.

Therefore, I have had a look online (not in depth) and we can get a polo shirt with the club badge on one breast, UKCougar.com on one sleeve and your name/nickname on the back (all stitched, though printing is cheaper).

Price is around £17 but I reckon we could get this down to around £15.

Supply is currently on hold following liquidation of our original supplier.

Talks are in place for a new supplier and once we are able to provide again there will be a notice.

No members are permitted to produce/reproduce or otherwise create merchandise with any affiliation to the club without the express written consent of the Administration Team. All names, logos and representation of UKCougar are copywright protected.

This is purely down to member failing at the task previously and as such in the best interest of the club and it's members that this action was necessary.

I assume this refers to the club merchandise shop area Kully? I'd be after a polo shirt too for the show season (y)
 
maybe we could do annual club polo shirts...get a bit of money for the club/organiser.

The design could possibly incorporate a tribute to fallen members?
 
Sorry, wan't trying to step on toes. I had no intention of getting one/any, more of an idea and for the correct path to be followed.

Anyway, I'd love to have one with a nickname on it and the UKCougar forum logo too.

There are plenty of places through eBay that do individual ones so people could have the same design but different coloured polo shirts (and please not pique).

It'd be good to have these in place before the show season starts.

We are trying our best but to try and secure a consistent supply at good rates and that can provide known quality goods with good embroidery is difficult.

There have been several providers in the past some of which were awful.

I like the annual shirt idea though, maybe worth a mention. Elaborate on your idea Si, or if anyone has suggestions in how we can incorporate or include members no longer with us etc.

Maybe 2012 polo's be blurple with silver embroidery? Or something along that line.
 
Who saw Phil Robbo's Tie on Thursday? the one commemorating Chris. It is produced by xamax, a company who produce practically anything and will put any custom design onto it. I remember posting info regarding this company a while back. Imo this is a perfect company to deal with if we are serious about club clothing etc.

this sounds good to me aswell, not quite made it along the silver side stripes scenario yet but i'm working on it :cool::cool::cool:

It's just so often you see clubs producing annual t-shirts...it seems like a good idea on so many levels.

Obvious stuff is the shirt having the year mentioned, your club handle...the cougar logo. Beyond that perhaps an rip type tribute, very subtle, maybe under the cougar badge or on a sleeve or perhaps the collar.
 
i realy like the idea of a club t-shirt for shows etc, especialy so new members can identify other members they have talked to on here, i still struggle now...mind you, im not even a year in yet lol
