Cougar 2 In Fife Scrapyard

Hi all.. Just to give you the heads up theres a Cougar 2 in U Pull It in Inverkeithing.. more or less complete minus the headlights (I took those ;) ) but full leather in decent shape, dash etc - prices seemed pretty reasonable.

A shame actually its a 51 plate V6 in silver - tidy with the MOT til august 2012 lying on the passenger seat. Marked as a cat c but bar some key scratching theres not a mark on it.
 
Had a lookie this afternoon and it is a bit of a heap. The leather has seen better days and there appears to be white paint spilled on the passenger seat and not cleaned off properly. All the rest of the car is there apart from the headlights. I know off the guy who owned it and he did not look after it at all. It had a side impact accident a while back and got kind of repaired with scrappy stuff, new door etc. Front bumper is scuffed badly at the o/s and spot light fixings are broken. Scrapes down o/s of car and various key scratches. The engine is goosed.
I will give them a call tomorrow sometime and enquire about the dials for you Si. I won't be able to go get them till monday as I am working all day tomorrow.
 
SK51 OKH. Leather didnt look too bad at all to me to be honest.. nothing a clean wouldn't sort out anyway... Seems a shame such a rare beast ended up binned.

I son't have a Cougar at the mo but thought the lights worth having. I can always bung em on ebay if i don't buy another soon.

Now that's what i call forward thinking! Got the headlights, now you just need a car to bolt onto them ;):LOL:
 
£10 each plus vat ;) I've had a couple of cougars.. don't see it being too long before I've got one again - and id never even seen those lights before!!
 
Thats what I mean - the bits are cheap ! someone needs to get that leather and the dash out as itll likely be buttons! I dont have any storage or id be bunging it all on ebay!! - I just asked at the desk "how much for a pair of cougar lights" - didnt mention the rarity value - i suggest if you go you do the same!!
 
i wouldn't mind a spare driver's seat if it were cheap enough and if I can get it delivered. If the lights are a tenner, the dash parts will be cheap as.
