Thanks everyone for a fantastic weekend.

There are a few people I would like to say a personal thank you to.
Rick Frosty V6 - For being as true and genuine person in the flesh as you are in your posts.
Vas - For being just the funniest person around all weekend, and for putting up with Karl!!!!
Bulletfoss and Rachel - For being fantastic buddies
Wagsie - You call me Mum again, you'll feel my slipper!!!!

Yes I think that about somes me up, a PLANK!! Bring on the Captain Morgans! That stuff tasted so good I just kept wanting more :wink: . It did catch up with me in the end though And BTW the tent parasending was all to save one of my favourite cats; the lovely Betty Boop, from getting sctratched!! I risked my life to save your car darling, but more importantly.... what a prat I must have looked!!!

And yes I did find my tissues Vaz just wasn't looking hard enough!!!!

THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT... reading the replies I can only echo what everyone else has said, despite the weather we had a great weekend, many thanks to Jason & Matt for organising, thanks to everyone who made my nephew Ant feel so welcome, thanks to Alan for the jump leads, sorry I put them in the wrong tent (if I knew I would have given Jo a tickle) thanks again to jason for giving me the jump start, thanks to Mo for the curry goat, and thanks to everyone for turning up and making it the biggest Fest yet.
It was, as ever, good to see the old freinds & faces and good to meet new members and first timers, anyone who didn`t come or wasn`t interested or had to work.... theres always next year, this event just gets better.

Thanks to the organisers who got this years event on despite the lack of co-operation from the venue management. My first thank you has to go to our little Gay Zebra in newbie corner that gave us a ton of fun and laughs keeping it up in the wind and rain . But most importantly a massive thank you to the people that we shared it with over the weekend namely:

BulletFoss and Rachael for some wicked humour and wicked sounds that kept the Gay Zebra rocking. Bulletfoss (Your rendition of I'll be there for you was superb timing was impeccable )

Chris always good to see you it was a great shame your weekend was cut short due to to family issues, look forward to a beer with you soon.

Jamie and Gill, good to meet you finally in the flesh my favourite verbal sparring partner really looking forward to seeing the alloys on your new cat.

Paul and Amy really good to meet you both wow you are both taller than I expected sorry to hear about the spoiler looking forward to seeing what plans you have for your cat

Thanks also to Mike for always having a level head in all situations. 8)

Jason H good to have met you and your mate Karl hopefully see you at the next big meet.

Wagsie top lad one of our heroes with keeping gay Zebra standing double helping of chilli concarne next time.

Larry T very generous of you to invite Captain Morgan I hope you will have read he was well recieved and regurgitated later by a certain unamed person.

Karl and Vaz for making Captain Morgan so welcome but we would have liked to have talked with him as well.

Well I'm glad I was such a good source of entertainment for the weekend :wink: (no seriously I am ) I did want to go everywhere that night but ended up staying in that freezing cold tent with no one taking any notice of me Trust me that tent was trying to take off with me hanging onto it!!

Bulletfoss and Rachael it was great to meet you I hope we can have another mini gathering soon.

And everyone else I shook hands with (theres too many to name) it was great to meet all of you and I look forward to seeing you all again!

Just got to say, that was one crazy Cougarfest Lashings of beer Lashings of rain , and best of all lashings of mud :roll: . Thanks to all you guys for making me, and my brother in law, Chris, feel so welcome, Met loads of new faces, made some new friends, Saw some friends from previous meets, who helped to name people A totally fantastic weekend, and thanks once again to all, , I did think that if next years Cougarfest is going to be as wet, I could fix tracks to my car, and call it " CATerpillar " " ROLL ON 2008 "

Sounds like I missed a lot after I buggered off early sunday morn, which was around the time the pikeys were kicking up stink.

Vicki for the heads up about the wellies and the garden center. Possibly the only usefull thing he will ever say to a fellow member here or elsewhere.

Betty (lorraine) for the heads up about events at the airports. Managed to smoothly check in and board without a hitch at Brum, but concern appreciated nonetheless And for use of the charger a couple of times

Manos & Mo for The curries, which I got to sample this year after missing out last year . Mind you If I slept on saturday night my tent would have flown off with me still in it, "Cooking on gas" couldn't describe the after effects... but it was DEE licious 8) .

Maz, not so much for Attempting to shove a roll down my throught in an absolute rage whilst I was puzzled as to what was going on :Shock: , But for apologising afterwards, I paid a false punishment for one of Bob's (many) crimes (Maz throught I threw the roll at her when Bob did )

And just about everyone that was willing to have a yak and a laugh with me and make me feel welcome, too many to list individually but you know who you are.

And a final note, Thanks to all the UK motorists, who last sunday evening were not driving at a slow pace in front of me as I took to the A68. And was left to enjoy the road for myself
