Cougar Spotting

This evening I spotted another...unfortunately couldn't get close enough, due to slower cars in front, but had a Silver Frosty pass me in Topsham and head towards Exeter - looked similar to Stribo's car (Steve) - same rear wing and tinted rear lights, although drivers side brake light was out and it also has the 3rd brake light mask. So, I'm wondering who was it?????

Well another Frosty was spotted on another stand at the Tatton Park show today, cant recall the reg number though.

Never spotted anyone on the way up but on the way back I was sure I had spotted one on the M6 Southbound, so the chase was on :) just before the M6 Toll turn off I spotted it again and came in for the kill, full throtle onto the M6 Southbound and low and behold it was only Rich Elliot CM15### (y) driving very economicaly I might add, unlike me :devilish: anyway he followed me for a while until I lost him around Junction 6 (spagetti Junction) then caught me up just on the M42 as I turned off at J4 for Solihull.

We didn't think you'd seen us Matt, we waved and flashed (the lights!) as you came past but you ignored us until we pulled up behind you in that traffic jam 5 minutes later when you waved at us!

Anyway, what's with the 'economically' bit, we were doing 70 which is actually pretty quick for me on a motorway in the Cat! Still, the trip computer was reading 34.4 MPG when we got home, so not too bad. It's a sobering thought though that a round trip from Waterlooville up to Burnley, Burnley to Tatton and back then back down here has turned £120 into exhaust fumes, the same trip in the Fiesta would have been about £70 at most, hence why we have to choose carefully which shows we go to. Tatton was great though and we'll definitely be there again next year.

Compared to the speed I was doing it was economical
yeah recognised your registration number (i've got your imrc cover too, i'll give it you at Ford Fair) my mpg on fill up today showed 28.8 so I wasn't doing too bad

Ah, that'll be the one I bought off Kev SDM then and forgot to get off Kully (after he told within about two minutes of us arriving that he'd got it in his car, which we were parked right next to) whilst also forgetting to give him Joanne's cousin's netbook to give to Procomm. Not one of my better days!

Blurple V6 twin pipes with UKCougar.com window stickers passed me in my Fiesta ST going down the A1 southbound early morning. Reg was V6 ??? Still get the instinct to flash every time I see one ha ha.

Saw three this evening on a little trip to Bridgend and back:
A Blurple V6 with what looked like an MS designs rear spoiler, shiny shiny alloys and a Cougar head on the boot queueing for the tolls on the second Severn Crossing at 6:10,
an Ebony going the other way on the enforced detour between junctions 25 and 26 of the M4 at 8:20 and a Frosty S****AV going south on the A46 towards junction 18 of the M4 at 8:50 ish.

Yes Tim, went to Tatton and back but didn't see one on the road and then saw 3 in 3 hours on Tuesday. The Blurple one warrented a closer look but he was two lanes over from me and got away from the tolls before I had a chance to get through.
