Cougar Spotting

Spotted on Saturday 7th September "T" reg frostie heading north on M40 towards Birmingham. Followed you for a short while in a new Focus wagon - dark gold colour somewhere near the Silverstone turn off.

just picked up my eldest from School and there in the car park is an Ebony Cat, Zetec, a little grubby but otherwise ok, T343 ADN

The youngest cougar I know, EU02 FBC, seen this morning. Have seen it a few times before, I see it occasionally , like once every few months, heading into Birmingham through Kitt's Green and Stechford way. It's a frosty C2 V6 manual with parking sensors and clear side repeaters, otherwise looks standard.
Also saw a V reg frosty parking up in my Mum's road in Coleshill last night.

I think the red ones were only sold in on the continent - UK got silver, black and green...

that Red C2 was owned by a previous member of this club, and was UK registered.
Nice car, sold it for buttons too IIR

Well been all the way to Lincoln and back a few days ago and only spotted one 2.0 ltr Blurple (standard) Coug with an OEM spoiler heading towards Birmingham on the M42. No stickers on it, so not a club car and didn't recognise the reg nor the driver.

X184 HCE in the A46 services near Wanlip, Leicestershire a few days ago.

Only noticed as it's a very close registration to my Cougar (X177 HCE).

Regards,
Andy

seems to be a few common Cougar registrations, *CE (HCE in particular) is one of them, there are also a lot of *VW & *AV.
I think *PU is also reasonably common too

Mostly Chelmsford office local issue to Essex, so either locals, Ford employees or family/friends...PU, OO, HJ then the new style so EU/N/K etc
Same near Luton area (and in general) - see lots of Vauxhall's KH/KG/KU etc as that's where they are based/built etc the same as Ford is Essex/East London
