Cougar Spotting

E1 DMR at Morrisons in Preston today (the one furthest in the pic). Was hoping the owner would come out to see the above, but I managed to get in, do my shop, and get out before they did :(. It looks unmodded in this pic, but it had rear light covers and a different grille.

It could just the be the lighting on both counts there :) standard rear lights for me!

Oh and the spotted Coug also has black panels just in front of the rear wheels, which makes it look a slightly different shape in the pic
 
That was my son taking his first solo drive in a Cougar, trust you to spot him Matt!

How is your cat going after refurb?
 
Brilliant thanks mate, no 'orrible squeaky brakes, nice and smooth, even got new tyres on today so that should do me for a while now it has clocked over 130000. I hope he enjoyed it!
 
He enjoyed his first Cougar solo outing,
he and his mates (all under 26) don't see Cougars as that'cool', but I'm working on it!

But when he saw Mike's car, he said 'that's awesome!'

Its the 25 year thing, after 25 years music,fashion,film, cars all start to be looked at again instead of just being discarded or looked at as old hat, things become cool again or cool even if the first time round they were not popular, we are riding the crest of an 80`s nostalgie boom so the cougar will be looked at in a new light before much longer.:)
 
spotted N7SCU in long eaton this morning ....would of waved but was walking grandkids to school ,may of looked a bit odd :)
spotted same car last week as well when I drove past as it was coming out of junction onto wilsthorpe road....
nice car by the way..anyones here?

I saw that car on the road when I was up at your place. I don't think it's a club member.

Also forgot to mention that there's two of them living in Bennett Street. Your area is like ground-zero for Cougars.
