Cougar Spotting

Unconfirmed.
My 13yo son dropped this into conversation this morning:
"Did they do the Cougar in Yellow?"
simple answer "only in America"
"Oh I saw a yellow one from the coach on our trip to Duxford."
"Did you get the registration?"
"It was Y something but it turned off before I coukd read it"

Possibly US forces owned, LHD, routes from here to Duxford may pass near Brandon, Lakenheath and Mildenhall. I think he knows the difference between a Cougar and eg. Puma, Celica, Hyundai Coupe etc.

On another note I saw in a driveway on my new alternative route to work, an immaculate 1973 Lincoln Continental.

There could well have been one as Ford did do the millennium Yellow ones of the KA, Fiesta, Puma & Focus. I think I have seen somewhere that a guy had a special order at that time for a Cougar and requested it in that very Yellow from that year.

I wish he'd remembered the full reg.
I showed him some images of yellow Cougars and Pumas, and it was the Cougar he picked as a match.

I saw a clone of me today on the A130 at about 4:45pm

Number plate eluded me, but as it passed I think I saw it was a V-plate

S367 XTW 2.5V6 frosty auto spotted in car park at Currys/PC World today at about 11.30am. Not a bad looker in the pic but close up side view was a bit raspy. Scraped wheel arches etc. First "spot" for a long time.
