Cougar Spotting

It amazes me how many spotted cougars there are. I haven't seen one for the last 2 months if not longer.

Juuuuust back-tracking through the thread...

It's okay, Ricey - I generally only see club cars. It's very rare that I see one in the wild, but that's not surprising given the numbers. I like to use the Rover Tomcat as an example since the numbers are the same, but... Watch this and tell me how many Alfa GTVs you've seen recently.

Survivors are exactly that. You just need to be in the right places!

Saw an ebony travelling east near junction 13 Thrapston on the A14 at 9.35 this morning but didn't see the reg. We were travelling west and then at 9.40 saw another ebony parked in the lay-by east bound between junction 10 & 11. This was a V reg but that was all I got. Two in one day :)

Saw a Frosty at the Old Wolverton roundabout today. Very tidy, totally standard, but not sure of engine or spec.

I flashed and waved, but he looked at me like I was mentally incompetent. He...he might be correct. Oh well.

Anyone spotted the Cougar on AutoTrader in yellow with black stripes? It's a Ferrari F340 look-a-like going for a measley £27k lol

I had that with the Thunderbird; old guy in the same town, same shape, colour car as mine (at the time were probably a couple of dozen in the UK!) - and we travelled the same section of road at similar times quite often; yet once passed a previous-series 1987 model and the occupants acknowledged me.

So what constitutes an "old guy" ? I'm hardly in my first flush of youth and suspect I'm not the only one around here of my age.

X reg frosty on Southwell Road, Mansfield, today 4.3.17 at 12.23hrs had a body kit looked very nice, saw it pull out of a side road, just in front of me, gave him a couple of flashers of the headlight, but didn't see any reply, originally thought it was Uncle Al but no, it had a different reg number....(y)

I wonder if that was Mark (sabretooth)
