Saw nine others at an event today (six UKC, two "other" clubs and a visitor).
Then on the A47 at Ring's End (between March and Wisbech) T140 UPP C1 Frosty V6 joined right behind me and we stayed together right until I turned off after Tilney All Saints.

I think you're right. W-reg only goes to August 31st 2000, and I believe that the C2 didn't come to market until X-reg; certainly that's the earliest I've ever seen.

In fact, knowing what vehicle manufacturers are like, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the C2 was released just in time for new registrations on 1st September 2000, just as new buyers are/were looking around the showrooms.

Aaanyway, the one that Ricky spotted spent the first part of its life tromping around Sheffield, just like Tiger did!

When he was behind, my daughter waved out the back to him (and took the frontal photo); I deliberately slowed on the dual carriageway to let him pass after which he flashed his indicators in a pattern, so yes.

Now that is weird! I saw that same car today also spotted a green V6 in Mansfield Woodhouse. In fact, it was parked on my driveway.
