A big thanks to all concerned from me and mini me - our first fest and we had a great time

.
Friday was not a great start - we set off late and got stuck on the M6 in the Friday rush hour :frown2:. When we did get there I really didn't think that we were going to make it over that bridge through the torrent of mud - almost killed the traction control. Only had about 45 minutes of light left when we arrived so thanks to everyone, especially Chris Warthog, for the help in getting the tent up in time.
The mood on Friday night was a bit subdued (most people probably thinking what the hell are we all doing here stuck in this field in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain for the weekend

) but that all changed with the sunshine on Saturday which was a great day. Fascinating watching all the work in progress all over the place. Kully, JJ, Skinnydawg and Bobster trying to wire all their massive ICE systems together to all play one massive tune to blow Grendon off the face of the earth and Dan (mini me) getting some sort of perverse pleasure from sticking his head in between JJ's subs when on at full tilt :yikes:.
Everyone seemed to be up to something, Dyg with his push button start and windows, Alex and his Visteon scoop, Manos with his new show plates and a bit of new art work for Bobby 'Angelman's cat

ihih

to name but a few.
Dan really enjoyed Chris's Nitro radio cotrolled car - so much so that he really wants one now (Thanks for that Chris - didn't realise that they were so bleedin expensive!!) but it was rather amusing watching that dog chase it all over the field.
I won the ukcougar.com Carp trophy with two reasonable fish - but then I was the only one that entered (And no - you can't barbeque carp :wink5
Saturday night was a scream, especially the light show courtesy of RichB, Phil Robbo, JJ etc and Kully DJing from his laptop - inspired. Pitty my camera ran out of batteries - could've extorted plenty of money after if it'd been working later - especially when the girls were having a roll behind the clubhouse

.
Sunday - we were the last to pack up as we were waiting for that monsoon before we did but even driving 170 miles back home p**sed wet through couldn't detract from the weekend.
Big thanks to all those involved in setting it all up

.
Thanks to Mo for the legendary goat curry - even better than anticipated.
Thanks to Charliecd001 for the last minute loan of the camera (and spare batteries which I managed to leave at home!!) piccies now in the picture section. Audio leads delivered to JJ.
Lewy - I have the IMRC bits from Bobster - will PM you re delivery.
Bobster - what happened to my remap :frown5: (I hear that you were having your head pecked by a hen with a very large hangover so I'll let you off this time

).
All in all a brilliant weekend. As previously posted - it's the people that make the meet, not the venue - and what a cracking bunch of folk there
See you all next year
