Cougarfest 2018 - interested parties.

Would not stay over as i am to old and infirm to be camping, but would of course be up for coming up, down or across for the day if the date fell right.
 
Any more interest in attendance for Cougar fest, looking for interested parties who will be staying over the weekend not just for day visit, numbers interested are currently low and really need more committing to it before it is a goer.
 
I know I've already said yes to being there, but I just wanted to reiterate my support of this important event on our calendar, however it works out.

Or maybe I just want to sleep in a tent for a couple nights a year. That's cool too.
 
I'd hope to be able to attend, on a purely selfish note it'd be nice if it was after July 14th and my big bike ride but I'll endeavour to be there whatever the date.
 
I'm up for a couple of nights under canvas, dates and location pending. I'm aware fo the event in general, is there a usual time of year they fall?

July or August depending on whats available and when people want to hold it, usually have a poll or suggestions made of best time and venue. I can start looking about to see whats available but don't know how easy it is to get a field where the club can all meet, if anyone has any suggestions.

Just an idea but there are a lot of village halls with camping facilities that can be hired so you have a venue at night to gather at obviously depending on cost, just one example below.

For all interested parties if you could give me an indication of what weekends you could attend from the list I can see when its the most suitable for the majority and also an idea of what area, thinking midlands may be best but its your event. Weekends proposed are as follows

JULY -
6-8
13-15
20-22
27-29

AUGUST -
3-5
10-12
17-19
24-25
 
Anydates for me Phil, but with at the risk of being shot and starting a debate :)lol:) - Would somewhere Mid-wales be amicable for people?
There are quite a few nice roads/passes with some awesome views.... (I think its Horse Shoe Pass) which is a hit with the bikers? (Tony might know more?)

Cheers Ricky its open to suggestions but need to be sorting it sooner than later.

I can pretty much do whenever I guess. My on-call can be traded off if necessary.

But have we settled on a potential location? I'd kind of prefer somewhere that a 17-year-old Corsa-bro isn't trying to do donuts in a field or ploughing his mum's Astra into a lake (again).
