This is the situation tonight in Solihull were I live.

Snow started about 11am and really messed up the morning/afternoon trade IE. we didn't get much then it eased off about 12:30pm then came back about 3pm in force. Its not snowing now but was quite heavy around 5pm to 7pm hence the white out. (although after just watching Ice Road Truckers on Ch5 it kinda pails into insignificance our weather, we are talking -60deg and driving on frozen oceans!)

We had nothing....until about 1000 when it snowed golf ball sized flakes for around an hour dropping 2-3" and been on and off all day since. Usual schools etc all closing down. Now where's the sledges :yesnod:

It's snowing guys and finally settled here, the first time snow has settled in Torquay in 17 years...

Had snow flurries with large lumps of snow at lunchtime but it did not settle. They forecast it to come overnight so we'll see!

One of our kids just bought a letter home saying the school's shut tomorrow cos it's reported we're getting 35cm of snow.

They're having a laugh aint they ? Don't think it's ever snowed that much down here :nonod:. They just want another day off :yesnod:

and it's just started snowing again so i'm off to make a snowman

Got out eventually with a bit of help, no fun driving automatics in this weather but made it in the end.

15's mate with 195/60 15's* tires thats what the manual states (Ironicaly its also the standard fit in the USA....they come with steels and wheel trims )
