Family

To be honest Mark a lot of it is down to you and the rest of the UK Cougar crew.
What I have learnt since becoming a member all those years ago is priceless but most of all the members on here have given me the confidence to tackle such jobs and for that I THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU

I'd only just caught up with all the headaches and you go and fix it!

Superb work Mike, kudos. Glad you can finally enjoy it. (y)

Well the latest update on this is after taking a year and a half to fix something else started to go wrong and i have had enough, so the Audi has been sold, I have mixed emotions - gutted that it didnt work out but also glad to see the back of it.
I could not tell lies so sold it open and honestly about its problems so did not get its full worth but i could not afford to get it fixed and the money will come in handy :(

It was a great gesture mate but I think you've done the right thing.

Sorry it never worked out Mike, but sounds like you've made the right decision. You sticking with the Cougar or anything else giving you an itch?

That's no bad thing. Less time spent on a temperemental German, more time to spend getting the Cougar up to your usual gleaming standard (y)

That's a bummer Mike! Such a shame given that the car was a gift from your family. Still, I'm sure they'd rather you had something you can enjoy and that isn't going to rob you blind in maintenance.
