favorite car

which model was that one i used to drive a g60

She was a 3 ltr VR6 , dropped by 50mm on full Koni ta's , 3" stainless decat Scorpion DTM pipe , 17" momo mas italy rims on 35profiles . I could feel every thing on the road including the leaves off the trees lol
I spent a fortune on that car and it was truly a fantastic car .
G60's are very nice too lovely sound they make when the supercharger starts to howl :D

used to be cool mate as i could get about 2ft of flame out the exhaust on over run and used to backfire like a b***h on fast gearchanges when driven hard due to the fact it was set to overfuel lol. Was truly a great car

the g60 loved a cold wet day,but the best fun car for driving was a m 325 left hooker back end was like a dog and wagged all over the place lol

... But the Rover coupe VVC was so much more fun to drive :D

My mate is after one of these, as he's had one in the past and misses it. He very fussy and it has to be in absolutely perfect condition. He's recently sold his Mk4 RS Cossie Escort and looking to replace it with a Mk1.

I do love those wheels. I had them on the Mondy I had before our first cat (although they were only in 15" form).
I liked the fact that the centres were alloy too.

I'd hate to name a favourite from mine. There are 2 which I was less enthusiastic about, but I'd really liked most of my cars.

I could never understand buying cars you didn't like - that's why I waited til I was 21 to buy my own first car. Paying a fortune for insurance on a rotten 1.3litre snotbox just didn't appeal. Latterly, I'd rather have a used nice car than a new bland car.

Actually, the cheapest car I've owned in terms of brand new OTR price was our MX-5 priced at £18,500, and the dearest is the current on for which we have paperwork to the tune of £36,000. Depreciation can be a wonderful thing!

1) Cougar 1 probably just pips the others in terms of memories.

2) I've liked Rover 1 enough to rebuild it after 2 crashes and never felt so proud of a car since first getting that one - as a first car it was immaculate, very well equipped for it's day and has proven to be a totally dependable car.

3) I've never had so much fun driving as with the MX-5. It's a real shame that's gone now looking back, and I'm always on the lookout for another one as good.

4) I've never been so happy with a car as an all-round package as the current Jag.

5) I've never found it quite so funny letting boyracers and Audi drivers positioning to overtake coming off roundabouts then effortlessly pulling away from them as I have with a 13 year old white Rover 600 series - but that's not a good enough reason to keep it.

I only owned 1 car before the Cougar and that was my Saxo VTR.
The Type R easily takes the crown now though, proper drivers car

Yeah FORD are a pig for high prices when it comes to alloys.

They're not that bad really...

How's this for a replacement alloy wheel?

And that's just one wheel!

Some brands really know how to charge...

And as for £160 for a Cougar wishbone...

I'll never complain about Ford parts prices again!:sad::sad:
